The Australian Corporate regulators have finally introduced legislation that requires organisations to begin generating non financial reporting as it relates to their entire business operations. For 2008/2009 the impact will only be felt by Australia's largest organisations, however by 2010 it is expected that most mid size businesses in Australia and New Zealand will also be voluntarily incorporating this information into their financial reports (as it will be mandatory across all businesses by 2012 anyway, in Australia).
